American Medical Association (AMA)
The University of Arizona College of Medicine- Phoenix chapter of the American Medical Association is committed to the promotion of the profession of medicine and the betterment of public health through advocacy and education. We strive to support the development of medical students by providing opportunities for learning, leadership, and service. We will uphold our student body to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior. In addition, we will endeavor to keep our student body educated about healthcare policy and public health issues. We will advocate for medical student wellness and the wellness of our community as a whole. We will provide the link between medical students and medical professionals throughout the community to promote interprofessional relations, allow networking, and provide mentorship opportunities. We will accomplish our goals through collaboration with other organizations including student clubs and local and national medical institutions.
