Military Medicine & Veteran's Association (MMVA)
The mission of the Military Medicine & Veteran's Association (MMVA) is to facilitate a bond among students, faculty, staff, and community members with prior military experience and/or an interest in military medicine. Open to all students, the organization seeks to promote camaraderie and awareness of the military values and traditions that make up our nation’s military service.
The organization will also highlight the contributions of military medicine to medical science and innovation. MMVA is committed to providing information and education to all students on medical issues relevant to our Veteran and active duty military populations as well as resources to students interested in entering a career in military medicine. MMVA will fulfill this purpose through guest speakers, social events, simulations, and organized outings to military medical facilities.
**Please feel free to reach out to any of the club leaders for information about military scholarship and service opportunities as well as resources for current and veteran military members.
