Mission Statement:
The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) is a national organization of medical and pre-medical students committed to addressing the unique health challenges of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. The UACOM-P chapter of APAMSA hopes to increase awareness of health issues significant to Asian and Pacific Islander American minority populations by engaging medical students in meaningful advocacy and outreach projects. We will also promote networking opportunities with the professional community through collaboration with local service groups as well as the national APAMSA organization.
Our group is open to all interested UACOM-P students and faculty. If you would like to help out with any of our activities, please feel free to contact one of our club leaders!
