Class of 2025 Match Day is Friday, March 21st!
Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Climbing Interest Group at University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix is to promote the physical and mental health of our students. We plan to achieve this by organizing a variety of climbing events and fostering a safe environment for every student to participate regardless of climbing ability.
Climbing Cats, the climbing interest group at UACOM-P, is dedicated to fostering the physical and mental well-being of students through engaging climbing events. Recognizing the demanding nature of medical education, Climbing Cats aims to provide a unique outlet for students to unwind and improve their overall health. Climbing not only offers a full-body workout but also serves as a stress-relieving activity that can enhance mental resilience. By organizing regular climbing events, the group creates a supportive community where students can come together, challenge themselves physically, and build lasting connections. In addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle, Climbing Cats seeks to contribute to the holistic development of medical students, recognizing the importance of balance in achieving success in both academic and personal aspects of their lives.
