The Native American Service and Equity interest group is an organization for all medical students interested in learning about, gaining exposure, and serving Native American populations.
Our purpose and goals are:
To promote education, community outreach, and student development related to the medical care of Native American populations
To bring awareness to health disparities facing Native American populations
To provide opportunities for students to serve Native American populations in Arizona
To expose students to culture, tradition, and lifestyle of Native populations
To amplify Native voices and advocate for initiatives to increase health equity of Native American populations

This year we hope to hear from health professionals that work in areas of Native Health in order to learn more about the diversity and communities in which they serve. We wish to promote education, as well as student development and exposure related to medical care of Native American populations.
