Mission Statement
The Native American Service and Equity interest group is an organization for all mdical students intrested in learning about, gaining exposure, and serving Native American populations. Our purpose and goals are:
To promote education, community outreach, and student development related to the medical care of Native American populations.
To bring awareness to health disparities facing Native American populations.
To provide opportunities for students to serve Native American populations in Arizona.
To expose student to culture, tradition, and lifestyle of Native populations.
To amplify Native voices and advocate for initiatives to increase health equity to Native American populations.
