Building the Next Generation of Academic Physicians

Statement of Purpose:

We aim to help students interested in combining strong clinical practice with meaningful involvement in research. We focus on helping members build the skills needed to get involved in research during medical school and beyond, learn how to stay current with clinical literature as future physicians, and understand what it takes to continue scholarly work as an attending. We hope to implement this vision through workshops, mentorship, and shared experiences. Our goal is to make academic medicine feel accessible, sustainable, and exciting regardless of previous research experience.
