The Jazz Interest Group aims to bring medical students and other fellow jazz enthusiasts together to bring deeper appreciation of live jazz performances in the Phoenix area. Our mission is to provide an inclusive, hospitable environment for anyone interested in learning more about the art and history of jazz and its influences on modern day culture. We hope to preserve and promote the rich legacy of jazz music.

The Jazz Interest group hopes to create a sense of community, bringing students together with the intention of enjoying live music. We are excited to share listening recommendations, highlighting an array of jazz musicians to further our knowledge of this genre. We also meet monthly at The Nash in downtown Phoenix for live jazz performances. We will also organize collaboration events and live performances with other student-musicians at UACOM-P.
