Critical Care Interest Group (CCIG)

Mission Statement: 

• The Critical Care Interest Group is committed to fostering a learning environment that introduces students to some of the unique scenarios and specific knowledge and skills involved in the care of critically ill patients.

• The Critical Care interest group plans to offer hands on practice for various critical care skills including airway management and cardiac arrhythmia management, along with speaker sessions with critical care professionals. We'd also like to showcase various critical care devices and equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitoring devices, central lines and more. The group would like to pursue broader shadowing and mentoring opportunities to help students explore this field.
