RAD-AID

Mission Statement:

RAD-AID International is a nonprofit organization with the mission of improving and optimizing access to radiology and medical imaging services in low-resource regions of the world and for increasing radiology’s contribution to global public health initiatives and patient care. This is a local, student-run chapter of RAD-AID that would allow students to participate in the national organization's initiatives to increase patient access to radiology worldwide. We aim to host talks with RAD-AID physicians, get involved with research opportunities/projects, and participate in conferences.

Our student-run chapter of RAD-AID International is dedicated to improving access to radiology and medical imaging services in low-resource regions, aligning with the national organization’s mission of enhancing global public health and patient care through radiology. We aim to create opportunities for students to engage with RAD-AID’s initiatives by hosting discussions with physicians involved in global outreach, promoting the RAD-AID Medical Student Program, and facilitating involvement in research and outreach projects. Our goal is to support members in presenting their work at the 2025 RAD-AID Conference and fostering meaningful contributions to global radiology efforts.
