Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG)

Welcome to the Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG)

🚑   💉  🏥

EMIG Mission

The Emergency Medicine Interest Group is dedicated to coordinating mentors and shadowing opportunities, providing practical skill labs, and discussing topics related to the field of emergency medicine.

What We Do

EMIG is open to all students who are interested in learning about what the field of emergency medicine has to offer. Throughout the year, we will host several lunch talks/speaker series to further educate students on the EM specialty, including discussions on how to approach rotations, residency, other opportunities for EM physicians, and cases that may be encountered in an ER. We will also organize and run several hands-on workshop experiences to gain clinical skills and learn procedures routinely performed in an ER setting.
