The emergency medicine interest group is dedicated to fostering understanding of emergency healthcare through hands-on skills events, unique education opportunities, and collaboration with active EM professionals.
Statement of Purpose:

Our group seeks to generate interest in the emergency medicine field by showcasing skills, scenarios and educational opportunities. We will hold several speaker events with emergency medicine professionals along with Q&A sessions. Hands on events could include rapid response and trauma scenarios including FAST exams. We'd like to develop a mentoring program to help aspiring students stay on track to get into this exciting, challenging and rewarding field.
