Mission Statement: 

Our mission is to create a space for the UA COM-P community to explore movement, to provide a creative outlet, and to engage with the local dance community through choreography, with an emphasis on performance dance styles such as street and contemporary styles.

SYNAPSE is UA COM-P’s choreography interest group, dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and adaptable space for students to explore movement and express themselves. We welcome everyone regardless of experience or skill level. Our activities include choreography workshops and classes, all designed to appreciate dance through the art of choreography. We strive to cultivate a dynamic environment where members not only learn and perform student-crafted choreography, but also actively engage in shaping and creating future pieces. We are committed to ensuring that students of all physical abilities can participate in a way that feels comfortable and empowering for them.
